Suge Knight Says 2Pac’s Death Was A Blessing

Death Row Records founder Suge Knight has been known to make some controversial statements and on his podcast Collect Call With Suge Knight he made perhaps one of his most controversial statements. Suge Knight said that Tupac’s death was a blessing.

Suge Knight goes on and explains what he meant by saying that Tupac’s death was a blessing. First he spoke on how the image of Tupac will always be one of Tupac in his prime.

Secondly, Suge Knight pretty much says that Tupac’s untimely demise immortalized him. That is, it made Tupac live forever.

To live forever in some way or form was one of Tupac’s marks in life. He himself stated so in the a clip where he says he wanted to be immortal (click link at top of post to view it).

Suge Knight has received a lot of criticism from fans for making such a statement. Some of the criticism found in the comments section include:

“That is idiotic. I’m sure all the people that actually loved him would rather for him to be alive. If he didn’t start hanging out with Suge he would be.”

And another read: “I beg to differ. I love seeing people I grew up listening to evolve.”

One of the comments that agreed with Suge Knight read: “I’ve said this myself and I believe a small part of Pac wanted it to be this way. He’s truly immortalized. He’s never gonna age, he’s never gonna say or do anything to lose fans or get cancelled. He can do no wrong. He’s forever going to be that 25 year old icon who’s talked about for the next 100 years. It’s priceless in a way.”

What are your thoughts on Suge Knight saying that Tupac’s death was a blessing?

And as always we like to close with a saying, quote or adage and today’s is from Suge Knight: NO MATTER WHAT IT IS, I THINK PEOPLE WANT THE ANSWER THEY WANT. THEY DON’T WANT THE TRUTH.
