1) DO NOT APPROACH HER WHEN SHE’S ACCOMPANIED BY A MAN
This indication should be clear to most guys, but some insist on violating it and that is, don’t approach a woman when she’s accompanied by a man.
You may be thinking, what if the guy is her brother, a cousin or perhaps a gay friend that she uses to thwart off guys.
You may be right. However, you may be wrong. And when you’re in such a situation where you can’t find out or know for sure, it’s better to err on the side of caution and do not approach her.
It’s just not worth it if you get it wrong. Think about it.
2) DON’T APPROACH A WOMAN IF SHE HAS A RING ON IT
Do not approach women who clearly have on what appears to be a wedding ring or an engagement ring. It’s an absolute must of the 6 indications of when women do not want to approached.
Do the right thing and be respectful and mindful. She made a choice and it wasn’t you. That’s okay. There are plenty of women who are looking to make the same choice with a guy like you. However, it’s not her. She already made her choice.
DISCLAIMER: We’re not saying that an engaged or married woman does not appreciate a compliment. But because it’s can be a delicate situation we suggest refraining from it.
3) DO NOT APPROACH HER WHEN SHE’S IN A HURRY
Do not approach a woman when she is clearly, obviously in a hurry. If she’s in a hurry and passing or passes you by, let her go about her way. She clearly has somewhere to be and needs to get there fast.
Let her continue in her hastens. You approaching her in such a circumstance has little probability of her even making eye contact with you, let alone give you her contact.
4) DON’T COME OVER HERE LOOK
Do not approach a woman who has on that “Don’t come over here look.”
You know what that look looks like. You can just see it in her face. It’s not a happy or a smiley look.
Plus, you know that look because she won’t even look at you. Every time you attempt to make eye contact with her, she rolls her eyes and looks away.
In such a scenario, do the best thing, and that is to look away as well and do not approach her. She clearly does not want to be approached, for whatever reason, and it could be a good one. She could be committed or simply not interested. Read the signs.
Remember, one of the keys to success to approaching women is knowing or figuring out which ones not to approach.
5) DON’T APPROACH WOMEN WITH HEADPHONES ON
Don’t approach a woman if she has on headphones. Especially if the music is on so loud you can hear it from where you are and she’s on her phone at the same time.
This is a clear and indicative sign that she does not want to be bothered.
When she’s doing this in a public environment or in public transportation it’s her sign that she wants to be left in her space.
However, if you insist on proceeding to approach her, we suggest the following.
Do not attempt to yell or even talk to get her initial attention. She will most likely dismiss or discard what you said without even hearing it. What you can do is wave hello at her or attempt to make eye contact with her and she how, or if she reciprocates to your approachment attempt.
If she doesn’t reciprocate, let it be. However, if she does reciprocate (responsive) and you are going to approach her, you want to make this clear to her.
You do not want to suddenly just show up in front of her. This would be scary and uncomfortable for her. You need to keep eye contact with her and signal her that you are approaching her. No surprises. She needs to see you coming to her.
6) DO NOT APPROACH HER IF SHE’S ALONE AT NIGHT
This is absolutely, positively a do not do. Do not approach her at night when she’s alone.
When she’s alone at night she may already not feel safe as it is. Therefore, don’t add to it by approaching her. Your intentions may be well, but she doesn’t know that and she shouldn’t even give you a chance to find out.
This also goes for when she’s alone on public transportation at night. She may very well feel safe inside the public transportation. But the only thing that may be going through her mind is, “Will he get off at the same stop as me? Will he follow me home,” etc.
Therefore, we stress again, do not approach her when she’s alone at night.
EXCEPTION: The only exception to this is if she approaches you, then you can approach her as well. But be mindful and keep a certain distance. She needs to fell safe.
