Rapper Cam’ron, a founding member of DipSet and the current host of the YouTube podcast ‘It Is What It Is’ with former Bad Boy Records rapper Mase, has finally explained his CNN publicity ploy. He explains why he did it (watch video).
He got free publicity on CNN for his Pink Horse Power natural male enhancement product.

Cam’ron explains that prior to going on CNN he had pitched some positive ideas to them, however, they never replied.
But what he said CNN did want him to do was to go on air and discuss the Diddy and Cassie situation. He explains (watch video).
Cam’ron states that due to his deceitful promotional ploy on CNN he had a leap in sales, not only for his product Pink Horse Power, but also for his DipSet merchandise.
He also plugged in his YouTube sports show It Is What It Is.

When asked about why when he was an upcoming artist his friend Mase didn’t take him to sign with Diddy, he gave a swift explanation, but he’s spoken on the subject before with Mase during their sports show (watch video).
