DAME DASH GOES OFF ABOUT BET NOT BEING BLACK OWNED

Though BET was founded by a Black couple, Robert Johnson and Sheila Johnson in 1980 it has not been Black owned since it was purchased by Viacom in 2001.

And years later after a merger and acquisition deal today BET is owned by Paramount Global, which also is not a Black owned company.

Dame Dash recently went off about BET not being Black owned and not helping Black people. This is what he said.

What are your thoughts on BET not being Black owned and its portrayal of Black people on television?
