The Jay Z and deceased rapper from Harlem Big L battle is one that has been talked about countless times. And recently Dame Dash spoke on it as well.
On the Math Hoffa podcast show My Expert Opinion Dame Dash talks about how the battle took place on 139th street in Harlem New York, on Big L’s block.

DAME DASH SAYS JAY Z WON THE BATTLE
Dame Dash says that Big L was his man, but he always felt that Jay Z was better and goes on to explain how the battle between Jay Z and Big L was set up (watch video).
Dame Dash says that he feels that Jay Z won the battle with Big L and he explains why.
BIG L WAS GOING TO JOIN ROCAFELLA RECORDS
Though Jay Z and Big L battled there was clearly no love lost between both Big L’s Flamboyant camp and Dame’s Rocafella camp as Big L was supposed to get signed to Rocafella.
However, as we know Big L’s life was tragically lost on February 15, 1999, when he was fatally shot nine times in a drive-by shooting in Harlem.
Dame Dash briefly touched up on the matter.
