Co founder of Rocafella Records and owner of America New Network, Dame Dash, has been credited for discovering or fostering music talent from Jay Z to Kanye West and others.
However, he’s also discovered and fostered talent in the film industry as well. One of those talents being Kevin Hart.
The former music executive and film director gave Kevin Hart his first movie role in the comedy movie Paper Soldiers released in 2002.
Kevin Hart himself talked about how Dame Dash gave him the movie role in Paper Soldiers in an episode of All The Smoke podcast show in 2021.

THE FALLOUT BETWEEN DAME DASH AND KEVIN HART
However, for a few years now Dame Dash and Kevin Hart have not been seeing eye to eye.
The reason for this can go as far back as 2018 when Dame Dash released his independent movie Honor Up.
The movie director called out Kevin Hart among others for not posting his newly released movie on their Instagram.

In addition, in a recent episode of The CEO podcast show, Dame Dash explains to Math Hoffa that Kevin Hart is mad at him for making fun of him for wearing Uggs.
Dame Dash has also spoken of his disapproval of the cult classic movie Soul Plane, starring Kevin Hart, which is filled with egregious stereotypes of Black people.
Dame Dash said: They asked me to produce Soul Plane and I got offended. I didn’t like White people making money off making fun of us.
