Dame Dash recently addressed several of Irv Gotti’s accusations towards him in a podcast interview on America Nu Network. In addition to Irv Gotti saying that nobody listens to Dame, Irv Gotti also said that Dame Dash was a long for the ride as far as him being a part of Jay Z’s Career.
Dame Dash responded to this and said that what Irv Gotti was doing was attempting to erase his Rocafella history.

DAME: IRV GOTTI WAS BROKE
In Dame’s responses to Irv Gotti he also elaborates on how Irv Gotti came to him when Irv Gotti was on trial by the Feds for money laundering. He says that Irv Gotti was broke and asked him for help.
Dame says that he couldn’t help Irv Gotti financially, and suggested that Irv Gotti ask Jay Z to cut him a check since he was the president of Def Jam at the time, Def Jam being the parent company of Irv Gotti’s music label, Murder Inc.
DAME: JAY Z TURNED HIS BACK ON IRV GOTTI
Dame says that Jay Z turned his back on Irv and was unwilling to cut him a check as President of Def Jam because the Feds went to all the labels and told them that if they helped out Irv Gotti they would be subject to scrutiny as well. That is, possibly conspiracy charges.
With that said, Dame himself states that he was unable to help out Irv Gotti financially, but offered to make his suits to wear to court, for free. Dame did make Irv Gotti his suits and he did wear them to court.

DID JAY Z REALLY TURN HIS BACK ON IRV GOTTI?
What are your thoughts? Did Jay Z really turn his back on Irv Gotti or was Jay Z simply doing what was in the best interest of Def Jam as a company and steered clear away from Irv Gotti while he was on federal trial?
Is Jay Z immune from accusations of turning his back on Irv Gotti because as president of a label, Def Jam, he is responsible to do what’s in the best interest of the company, not what’s in the best interest of his friend.
Or could it be that Jay Z himself received orders from his bosses to not cut Irv Gotti a check. Remember, Jay Z was the president of Def Jam, not the owner. The owner of Def Jam was and is Universal Music Group.
And how do you feel about Dame Dash offering to make Irv Gotti’s suits? Was that all that he could do for Irv or was he himself unwilling to give Irv any money so that the Feds wouldn’t scrutinize him or potentially accuse him with conspiracy charges?
