Undoubtedly two of the greatest hip hop albums of all time are Tupac’s Diamond selling album, All Eyez On Me and Notorious B.I.G’s also Diamond selling album, Life After Death.

However, the contention or debate arises when the discussion of which one is a better double album, Tupac’s All Eyez On Me or Biggie’s Life After Death.

ALL EYEZ ON ME

Upon release, All Eyez on Me received instant critical acclaim, and it has been ranked by critics as one of the greatest hip hop albums, as well as one of the greatest albums of all time.

All Eyez on Me debuted at number-one on both the US Billboard 200 and the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts, selling 566,000 copies in its first week.

All Eyez On Me was eventually certified diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA}.

LIFE AFTER DEATH

Life After Death is the second and final studio album by American rapper the Notorious B.I.G., released on March 25, 1997.

Life After Death sold 690,000 copies in its first week, peaking at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Life After Death has also been certified diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA}.

In terms of accolades the album tend to be equally on par.

The battle for which album is greater is one that is fought in the hearts and minds of hip hop fans. That dispute seems like it will be unending.

M.O.P PICK ALL EYEZ ON ME OR LIFE AFTER DEATH

Brooklyn born rappers Lil Fame and Billy Danze known collectively as M.O.P were recently on Drink Champs and they were asked to pick between Tupac’s Album Alle Eyez On Me or Biggie’s Life After Death.

Lil Fame’s picked Biggie’s Life After Death over Tupac’s All Eyez On Me.

Some may make the argument that fame was undoubtedly going to pick Biggie’s album as Biggie dropped his name in the album Ready To Die in the song Warning.

Billy Danze picked Tupac’s All Eyez On Me Over Biggie’s Life After Death.

JUVENILE: Interesting enough rapper Juvenile was on Drink Champs some time before them and when it came to picking between Tupac or Biggie he gave a thoughtful response where he said he picks both.

CONCLUSION
