Recently Billobard Magazine released its list of the The 50 Greatest Rappers Of All Time. That is, the GOAT’S of rap music. The list stirred much controversy among hip hop fans and artists alike. 50 Cent On Billboard’s 50 Greatest Rappers Of All Time came in at number 17.
The top three greatest rappers of all time, according to the Billboard list are, Nas at number 3, Kendrick Lamar at number 2 and Jay Z at number 1.
To round out the top 5, Tupac comes in at number 4 and Eminem at number 5.
50 CENT RANKED NUMBER 17 GREATEST RAPPER OF ALL TIME
Rapper 50 Cent, who ranked among the top 20 greatest rappers of all time, was ranked at number 17.
50 Cent was asked if the list is “right.” 50 Cent responds, “No, it’s not right.” He continues, “I don’t think that you can put together a list like this without being biased at some points.”
50 Cent goes on to say, “Someone’s personal appreciation for these artists are making them place them where they place them.”
WHAT ABOUT THE TOP 3 ON THE BILLBOARD’S LIST OF GREATEST RAPPERS OF ALL TIME?
50 Cent was also specifically asked if the Billboard Greatest Rappers Of All Time List top 3 were correct. That is, If he agreed that number 1 Jay Z, number 2 Kendrick Lamar and number 3 Nas were correct.
Rapper 50 Cent responded, “No. They’re still good artists, but not of all time. No.”
He was then asked who should be number one and 50 Cent responded, “I don’t know. I don’t know who would be the number one artist.”
He was then asked if Billboard ranked him as the number one Greatest Rapper Of All Time if Jay Z would be number two. 50 Cent replies, “probably not.”
Though the list is heavily contested, G-Unit fans must be excited that to see 50 Cent on Billboard’s 50 Greatest Rappers Of All Time, even if it’s at number 17.

RAPPER LIL. WAYNE ON WHERE HE SHOULD RANK ON BILLBOARD’S LIST OF GREATEST RAPPERS OF ALL TIME
New Orleans rapper Lil. Wayne also had some issues with the ranking of Billboard’s Greatest Rappers Of All Time List.
Lil. Wayne said that he should be ranked number one. He stated, “Every name that you just named knows that I’m number one.”
